<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the sealability between the interior of a coping and the exterior thereof. CONSTITUTION: In the fitting structure of a handrail support in which a handrail support 2 is fitted to a support body 7 with a coping 6 through a reinforcing member 8 that has been erected on the support body 7 so as to penetrate through the coping 6 fitted on the support body 7, the coping 6 is fitted in such a condition that it has been floated up from the support body 7. Between the support body 7 and the coping 6, a dish-shaped seal receiving member 13 that has been fitted to the reinforcing member 8 is provided, and a sealing material 16 is filled in the seal receiving member 13 up to the position where it reaches the coping 6.</p> |
