FIELD: rolled stock production, namely finishing scale breaker for wide strip hot rolling mills arranged behind flying shears of finishing stand group of mill. SUBSTANCE: scale breaker includes struts with ports, upper and lower feed rolls with chocks, cross bar connecting struts and pneumatic cylinder for lifting upper roll, both mounted on said cross bar. Cartridges mounted in ports of struts support chocks of upper and lower rolls. Said cartridges are mutually connected by braces to which mounting brackets are secured. Pneumatic cylinders for lifting upper rolls are mounted in hinged supports. Rods of pneumatic cylinders are joined by articulation joints with chocks of upper roll. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and quality of descaling strip, lowered labor consumption, reduced time period for roll changing and lowered time of rolling mill. 1 cl, 3 dwg |
