PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binding method capable of supplying disposable products having water-solubility and degradability. SOLUTION: This method for bonding tissue or nonwoven to similar or another substrate comprises the step of applying to the substrate a molten hot melt adhesive composition wherein the adhesive comprises 20-60 wt.% intermediate or high DS (degree of substitution) starch ester having about 2-18C in the ester component and about 0.3-2.5 DS, 5-40 wt.% polar wax, 5-50 wt.% plasticizing diluent, 0-25 wt.% compatible tackifier and 0-3 wt.% antioxidant. |
