PURPOSE: To obtain a working fluid useful as a refrigerant containing a prescribed fluoroethane, having no danger of destructing the ozone layer and no fear of reduction in heat exchange efficiency and of adhesion of frost to an evaporator. CONSTITUTION: This working fluid contains (A) 55-65wt.% of 1,1,1-trifluoroethane and (B) 1,1-difluoroethane. The fluid comprises <=65wt.% of the component A, 35-45wt.% of the component B and the rest of (C) trifluoroethane. The weight percents (wt.%) of the component A (R143a) and the component B (R152a) are preferably in a range enclosed by a point A (0, 45), a point B (55, 45), a point C (65, 35) and a point D (0, 40). |
