FIELD: medicine; surgery. SUBSTANCE: explorer has flexible tube 1 and longitudinal partition 2 spaced from explorer tip 6 a distance equal to at least half of the external diameter of the tube. The partition divides the explorer tube into a suction channel and an aspiration channel. The suction channel has lateral holes dividing it into segments A, B, C. Segment B does not have lateral holes. Each segment is 30 cm in length. Channels 8 and 9 provided in the explorer wall are intended for delivery of a solution for irrigation of the gastrointestinal tract. Channel 8 has lateral hole 10 level with the explorer head, and channel 9 has lateral hole 11 in the middle of segment B. The liquid for irrigation is infused through channel 8 upon insertion of the explorer tip into the stomach aperture, and the contents of the stomach and the solution are withdrawn through the lateral holes provided in segment A and the suction channel. As the explorer is advanced into the empty intestine, the solution also enters channel 9 whose lateral hole 11 is in the enteral part of the stomach, and the contents of the stomach and empty intestine are evacuated through the lateral holes provided in segments A and B of the suction channel. This allows the processes of decompression and irrigation of the stomach aperture and the empty intestine to be concurrent. As the explorer is withdrawn, channel 9 keeps delivering the solution for irrigation till the lateral holes of segment B break cover. EFFECT: shorter operation time; less traumatic operation. |
