摘要 FIELD: chimney stacks. SUBSTANCE: multibore chimney stack is made in form of self-bearing cast-in-situ reinforced concrete structure whose body accommodates four gas escape bores 1, elevator shaft 2, open channels 3 for load lifting operations, conical semicircles 4 of external walls of gas escape bores 1 made in form of truncated semicones, block-panels 5 prefabricated from acid-heat-resistant material which are installed over internal perimeter of gas escape bores, elevator shaft 2. Before concreting the chimney stack, each block- panel installed into design position is secured with special anchors to metal reinforcing cage of bores. Vertical seams between panels are filled with acid-resistant mortar through special expanded grooves (Author's Certificate 910992). After installation of block panels of the first belt of gas escape bores and elevator shaft, chimney stack is concreted as a whole. In this case, rear wall of block-panels is concreted over the entire surface of high reinforced concrete bores of chimney stack. In so doing, high quality of protective lining wall is attained that excludes full failure of chimney stack in service and its service life reaches 100 years and above without major repair of lining. Labor input is reduced, both, during construction and maintenance of the chimney stack which is operated without employment of attending personnel inside the chimney stack. The offered structure of chimney stack has high economic efficiency and great advantage over the analogs and prototype EGG borough (England). New design of chimney stack fully excludes from the construction the bearing reinforced concrete column of the chimney stack (shell) that results in saving of 1622 cu. m of cast-in- situ reinforced concrete, 2000 t of high-grade steel 20XMNDP8, 902 t of common grade steel. Chimney stack estimate is reduced by 1773 thou, roubles, as have been shown by the preliminarily calculation (prices of 1980).
