FIELD: waste water purification. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purifying waste water from metal processing plants containing emulsified and non- emulsified petroleum products. As a coagulant, natural bischofite is used in amount 1-40 mL/L at waste water temperature 20-80 C. Purification degree in accordance to oxygen chemical absorbance is 95.7% and that in respect to petroleum products 97.8%. EFFECT: increased purification degree and reduced cost. 1 tbl
