PURPOSE: To obtain an underwater slidable resin composition which has no anisotropy to the shrinkage factor in the forming time, and to obtain the valve body of a valve device and a valve seat which have a good antiabrasive property of the sliding surface, hardly hurt even though a foreign matter invades to the sliding surface, and can exercise the water stopping property even when they are used for a long time. CONSTITUTION: To 100 pts.wt. of polycyanoarylester, 40 to 165 pts.wt. of glass form carbon with the mean particle diameter 3 to 30μm is mixed, and preferably, 1 to 30 pts.wt. of fluorine type resin powder such as tetrafluoroethylene is added, to form an underwater slidable resin composition. And in a valve device in which a valve body 7 is superposed to a valve seat 5 having a valve hole 6, and the valve body 7 is slid to the valve seat 5 so as to open and close the valve hole 6, at least one side of the valve seat 5 or the valve body 7 is formed of an underwater slidable resin composition.
