The bending machine bends a linear type needle or rod workpiece into a circular type needle or rod by using one driving roll(21) and a pair of driven rolls(22,23). The bending machine comprises: the driving roll(21); the driven rolls(22,23); a guidance safety belt(24) installed between the driving roll(21) and the driven rolls(22,23) to rotationally move while being wound round the driving roll(21); a spring(54) pushing the driving roll(21) toward the driven rolls(22,23); a screw(44) adjusting the distance between the two driven rolls(22,23). The structure reduce the load on the guidance belt(24).
