A game apparatus comprising a board game, a plurality of playing pieces, task instructions, a recording means and a set of first tokens, the game board being provided with a starting position (START) for the playing pieces and a path (11 and 12) through which the playing pieces can move which comprises a plurality of stations for the playing pieces, the stations being subdivided into a plurality of sets of stations which are distributed along the path, the task instructions being subdivided into a plurality of sets where each set of tasks is associated with a particular set of stations, the recording means to be associated with each playing piece to record the completion of some of the task instructions and the set of first tokens comprising a number of first tokens each being of a predetermined value wherein a first token is to be awarded to each playing piece on completion of the remaining tasks of each set of tasks.
