Packed, sterile baked or farinaceous prods. have, external to the packing, a seal formed by a continuous coating, applied from a liq. compsn., based on mixed glycerides of acetic acid and 12-22C satd. fatty acids. The coating compsn. contains a polymeric film-former, esp. an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, or cellulose acetate and/or propionate. The OH number of the glycerides is 50-180. |
