In a prefabricated sheet of glass mat-reinforced thermoplastics (GMT) contg. 40-80 wt.% thermoplastics (I) and 60-20 wt.% glass fibres (II), (a) over 60 wt.% of (II) have a length of < 2mm, over 5 wt.% have a length of >2mm and practically none have a length of >20 mm; and (b) (II) are arranged in two dimensions. Also claimed is a method of making the sheet.
