The plastics bearing support for a stabiliser in a vehicle in which the bearing surface (6) with pockets (7) for a lubricant is formed by half shell shaped regions (8) with a reduced radial thickness but greater stiffness, as compared with conventional support bodies. The half shell shaped regions in the preassembled state of the plastics bearing support (5) are spaced apart by a slot (11) and enclose the stabiliser (1) on loading the bearing support in the housing. ADVANTAGE - Cost effective support which has an improved vibration compensation action.
