<p>The present invention relates to a method of controlling operating speed (Ni) of the loom for increasing the production rate (P) by varying the operating speed (Ni) to be increased. The method comprises a step of estimating a stop rate (n/< ANd >) at the final point of time during a predetermined period at a certain time during the predetermined period, comparing the estimated stop rate with a predetermined limit stop rate (QS), and setting the operating speed (Ni) to increase when the estimated stop rate (n/< ANd >) is less than the limit stop rate (QS) and to decrease when the estimated stop rate (n/< ANd >) exceeds the limit stop rate (QS).</p> |
