<p>PURPOSE: To transfer an image with avoiding an influence of stress on paper by providing a means releasing torsional stress generated in the paper when a loop is formed in the paper for performing adjustment between two roller devices arranged in a paper adjusting device. CONSTITUTION: A paper adjusting device consists of a register roller device arranged in a linear part in a photosensitive body drum and a preregister roller device arranged in the upstream part of the register roller device, and a driving shaft 22 is arranged in a driving roller member 21 in the preregister roller device movably in the axial direction, while a restricting member 30 is arranged in the shaft When a reaction force of torsional stress of the paper is applied to the driving roller member 21, the paper is conveyed out normally by moving the driving shaft 22. Then, the driving shaft 22 can be returned to the original position by means of plate spring members 32, 33 in the restricting member 30 when stress of the paper is eliminated.</p> |
