PURPOSE: To improve the operability and to improve the hanging strength by easily aligning legs provided at the bottom of a body with the horizontal frame of the hanging frame for placing the legs. CONSTITUTION: A hanging unit for an air conditioner comprises a pair of legs 2 extended longitudinally with mounts 2a at both ends and provided at the bottom of a body 1 for containing a compressor, a heat exchanger, a horizontal frame 3a having an insertion hole 3b corresponding to the mount 2a to place the legs 2, a hanging frame having a vertical frame 3c extended upward from both ends of the frame 3a in such a manner that the upper end of the frame 3c is fixed to a ceiling surface, the legs 2 are placed on the frame 3a, and a bolt 4 is inserted to the mount 2a and the hole 3b and engaged with a nut 5. A substantially L-shaped flange 2b for locking the frame 3a at least to one side of the leg 2 is bent to be formed, and a reinforcing piece 3d to be bent down is provided at least one side of the frame 3a of the slight inside of the flange 2b. |
