PURPOSE: To provide a directional speaker system of which sounds are faithfully reproduced throughout the directional speaker which transmits sounds to only a specific area. CONSTITUTION: The rear of a speaker 3 coupled to a baffle plate 5 is covered with a rear cover 6, and they are attached to one focus X1 of a reflector horn 1. In this constitution, reproduced sounds of the speaker are concentrated to the other focal point X2 to realize a sharp directivity when the input signal has a high frequency. Sounds from the front of the speaker and those from the rear are cancelled by each other to prevent sounds from leaking to the periphery when the input signal has a low frequency. |
