<p>PURPOSE: To provide a function which automatically selects a way of emphasizing an object part in a document according to a difference in the output form of the document and emphasizes the part without receiving detailed instructions from a user. CONSTITUTION: The user reads document data on the document to be edited out of a document data holding part 12 and inputs instructions of the part in the document to be emphasized and the output form of the document through a user instruction input part 11 through referring to a document image corresponding to the document data through a document image display part 15. When the user inputs the emphasized part instruction and the output form instruction, a conversion rule corresponding to the output form that the user instructs is called out of a conversion rule group held in a conversion rule holding part 14. A document data conversion part 13 rewrites the document data according to the called rule and stores the newly generated document data in the document data holding part 12. Further, a document image corresponding to the new document data is shown to the user through the document image display part 15.</p> |
