On the upper structure of a greenhouse, roofing window panes are supported by glazing bars and profiled sections. The gutter edge section with drainage holes is an invention which allows the roofing window panes to remain in position more successfully when buffeted by heavy winds. It withstands a higher pressure from snow, saves energy and provides a possibility of automatically cleaning the roofing window panes. The condensation water is drained through the drainage holes in the gutter.
