PURPOSE: To provide a stopping method of a fuel cell power generation plant which can restrain corrosive reaction of an air electrode and can restrain stay current corrosion and dissipation of a fuel electrode in a stopping process of the fuel cell power generation plant. CONSTITUTION: After supply of air and fuel to a fuel cell main body is stopped, first of all, inert gas is supplied to a fuel electrode, and before an atmosphere of the fuel electrode is substituted with the inert gas from fuel gas, supply of the inert gas is stopped. Next, inert gas is supplied to an air electrode of the fuel cell main body, and when an atmosphere of the air electrode is substituted with the inert gas, supply of the inert gas is stopped. Afterwards, inert gas is resupplied to the fuel electrode, and fuel purging is reperformed, and when an atmosphere of the fuel electrode is substituted with the inert gas, supply of the inert gas is stopped. Next, inert gas is resupplied to the air electrode, and air purging is reperformed. |
