PURPOSE: To set an effective mode to permit the conversion of a set information, and an ineffective mode to prohibit the conversion of the set information automatically, according to various photographing modes of a camera, by converting the setting of the second control information to a specific setting, when an ineffective mode to prohibit the setting converting process of the first control information is being set. CONSTITUTION: When a command dial 2 is rotated while pushing a lock button, the shutter speed can be locked at the present set value, or the locking condition can be released. When the command dial 2 is rotated while pushing an exposure mode button 6, the exposure mode can be converted to four exposure modes. Even though the shutter speed is locked by a shutter speed priority exposure mode S or a manual exposure mode M, the locking of the shutter speed is released by converting the exposure mode to a program automatic exposure mode P or a throttle priority mode A, and at the same time, the lock display lamp is put out. Consequently, the converting operation of the exposure value according to a new exposure mode is made possible. |
