PURPOSE: To simply detect a failed section even though circuit breakers have not been adopted at respective load branch points. CONSTITUTION: For respective power supply buses 2a and 2b connected each other through a bus loop breaker 3, power distribution lines 4a and 4b, to which a plurality of loads 8aa to 8bb are respectively connected, are connected together through power distribution line breakers 5a and 5b and respective power distribution lines are mutually connected together with a power distribution line loop breaker 9 in this power supply system of open loop type; in this system, transformers 10aa to 10bg are attached for detecting a current flowing through a relevant power distribution line near the connection points for respective loads 8aa to 8bb at least on respective power distribution lines 4a and 4b. Protection relays 11aa to 11bg for detecting anomaly of current value and current direction are provided for each transformer, and the trouble section is detected from the location of protection relay where the anomaly was detected and also from the direction of current. |
