PURPOSE: To provide a producing method of a color filter, which is capable of preventing the deterioration in the uniformity of film thickness in coating surface and coating irregularity to meet market requirements such as making a pigment layer thin, making a substrate large sized or making contrast high. CONSTITUTION: In the producing method of the color filter by repeating, for prescribed times for a prescribed color number processes for applying a color photoresist, in which a colorant such as a pigment is dispersed, into uniform film thickness on the substrate and pattering the coating film, the color photoresist is applied on the substrate by spray coating with binary fluid spray for spraying to apply the color photoresist discharged from a nozzle 12b with a compressed purified air from another nozzle 12a. |
