发明名称 MIXED SALT FOR EVALUATION OF CORROSION RESISTANCE TO MELTED SALT
摘要 PURPOSE: To safely evaluate/test corrosion resistances of a metallic material under an environment close to the actual environment by using a mixed salt of a low melting point composed of sulfate or a chloride such as Na, Mg or the like as a main component of ash produced in the actual environment where dust is burnt. CONSTITUTION: A small amount of MgSO4 is added to NaCl, KCl and CaCl2 composed of sulfate or a chloride such as Na, K, Ca, Mg or the like as a main component of ash actually generated in an environment where dust is burnt, thereby to obtain a mixed salt B of 32 to 38mol.% of NaCl, 4 to 6mol.% of KCl, 13 to 17mol.% of MgSO4 and the remaining mol.% of CaCl2 and having a melting point of 480 deg.C or lower. The mixed salt B has corrosive properties nearly coincident with those of an actual furnace ash A within an error range of 4-8% in an ambience of nitrogen gas including 1500ppm HC and 50ppm SO2 and 10% O2 . Therefore, corrosion resistances can be highly reliably evaluated/tested. Since the components of the mixed slat B are stable at room temperatures and less deliquescent, the mixed salt is easy to handle with. Moreover, since the mixed salt B does not include a heavy metal, human bodies are little harmed.
