PURPOSE: To improve the Japanese syllabary (KANA)/Chinese character (KANJI) converting precision of erroneously inputted reading data by storing a pair of reading data just before correction and reading data at the time of instruction of KANA/KANJI converting processing after that correction, and registering the same pair on a correct/error dictionary when the same pair is stored repeatedly more than a certain threshold value. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an error data storage part 6A for storing the reading data just before correction, a correct data storage part 6B for storing the reading data when the instruction for the KANA/KANJI converting processing is given after that correction, a correct/error data storage part 6C for pairing and storing the reading data stored in the error data storage part 6A and the correct data storage part 6B, and a registration part 6D for registering the same pair on a correct/error dictionary 1 when that pair is stored in the correct/error data storage part 6C repeatedly more than a certain threshold value. |
