<p>PURPOSE: To correspond with a system for taking the flow and temperature sucked in an engine and conducting the control, and to reduce size, weight and cost by providing an air flow measuring device with a heating resistor, a temperature sensitive resistor and an air temperature measuring element. CONSTITUTION: An air flow measuring device is so constructed that a heating resistor 2 and a temperature sensitive resistor 3 for measuring the flow of air are installed in the interior of a body. An element (thermistor) 8 for measuring the intake air temperature is inserted from one hole 6 provided on the wall surface of an air passage together with the heating resistor 2 and the temperature sensitive resistor 3 for measuring the air flow, and the intake air temperature measuring element 8 is installed in a circuit module part. Thus, an air flow measuring device of a very small and compact size can be provided. Furthermore, the device can be installed in any part of an intake passage wall surface, especially an air cleaner and an intake duct in the case of an automobile in addition to the body for forming a main passage by mounting an air sub-passage part 12 on the circuit module side.</p> |
