ROTARY JOINT FOR SIGNAL TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: To drive stably the rotary joint for signal transmission. CONSTITUTION: A rotating body including an antenna section and a transmission reception section is fitted to a shaft. A housing 13 of the rotating body is supported rotatably to the shaft via a block 15. A circumferential contour of the block is arranged by plural flat faces 15a-15h extended so as to be in contact with a side face of the shaft. Furthermore, the weight is distributed so as to satisfy the static balance condition and the dynamic balance condition. The transmission/reception section is arranged distributingly in plural idle chambers formed between a housing inner wall face and the flat faces.
