<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a protective member by which a protector for a wire harness can be used as a protective cap when the wire harness is bundled. CONSTITUTION: The central part of a flexible board 11 is used as a bend part 12. The bend part 12 is formed in such a way that its thickness is made gradually thinner toward the center from both ends in the length direction, and the central part which is a thinnest part is used as a fulcrum, and the bend part can be curved easily. The board 11 is wound on, and fixed to, a wire harness W/H by means of first tapes 19A, 19B, it is wound and fixed by means of second tapes 20A, 20B in a state that the bend part is bent together with the wire harness, and a cap which surrounds the ring-shaped tip part of the wire harness is formed. After the wire harness has been bundled, the second tapes are removed, the first tapes are not removed even after the bend has been released, and the board 11 is used as a protector for the wire harness without being removed from the wire harness.</p> |
