PURPOSE:To form an excellent transfer image formable heat transfer recording medium by sequentially piling a mat layer, a first heat transfer layer containing organic lubricant and unvulcanized rubber, a colorant, waxes and a second heat transfer layer containing low melting point resin. CONSTITUTION:A mat layer, a first heat transfer layer containing organic lubricant and unvulcanized rubber as main ingredients, colorant, waxes and a second heat transfer layer containing low melting point resin as a main ingredient are sequentially piled on a base made of plastic, cellophane, etc., having satisfactory heat resistance to form a heat transfer recording medium. A third heat transfer layer made of waxes is further piled on the second layer to form a heat transfer recording medium. The mat desirably contains silicone resin powder, silicone-treated inorganic pigment, and polytetrafluoroethylene powder. |
