One-hand switching device for bicycle hub or gear change

The switching device comprises control wires (3) suspended in separate control sliders (2) which are forcibly guided in the base body (1) and are parallel to the control wires. A transverse slider is forcibly guided in the base body transverse to the control sliders. The transverse slider has a separate cam for each control slider. The cam may be fixed in the longitudinal direction by a transmission member. The cams are formed in the transverse slider through different pitches and pitch directions such that with the movement of the transverse slider, the control slider with each switch step can be brought in the position to give an optimum changing of gearing.
