For a process for producing synthesis gases and/or fuel gases from residues and waste materials containing organic constituents and/or low-grade fuels (feedstocks) by means of oxygen-containing gases, using a pneumatic gasifier or shaft gasifier, the object is to ensure the most uniform product gas quality possible, in spite of the difficulties in handling the feedstock, which can especially also be light shredder material from motor vehicle recycling.
