<p>The support leg has an upper and a lower leg part (5 and 6) which can be adjusted from a horizontal position resting on the floor, about a pivot pin (33) into an extended position, in which it is secured by a locking device (2). The latter has a bar-like release (38) which, during the pivoting of the lower leg part (6) from its horizontal into its extended position, is automatically movable into the locking position. The lower leg part (6) is seated non-displaceably on the pivot pin (34). The furniture can be raised without fear of the lower leg part (6) coming free from the locked position by mistake. By means of the release (38), the leg part (6) is perfectly held in its extended position. The support leg is structurally simple in design and consists of few individual parts. <IMAGE></p> |
