PURPOSE:To manufacture a cable, in which a cross section of a sheath is crescent or flat-trapezoidal, smoothly and without being accompanied by deformation by providing resin flow suppressing coupled wings having a triangle cross section with the almost same gap toward an insulated core and the dice land inside, symmetrically to the insulated core. CONSTITUTION:A dice 5 for extrusion molding having a land 4 with a crescent for flat-trapezoidal inner cross section is mounted on a dice holder and a nipple 6, wherein an insulated core 1 passes through its center, is arranged inside its dice 5. In front of the nipple 6, resin flow suppressing wings 8 having a triangle cross section are saliently provided, and these suppressing wing 8 have an almost same gap (t) toward the insulated core 1 and the inside of the dice land 4 and its tip is projected about to the front end of the land 4 when the nipple 6 is mounted on the nipple holder. The pressure of resin (a) leaving the dice 5 is suppressed by the suppressing wings 8 for being cooled and hardened while being shaped by a sizing dice C so as to obtain a cable P having a required cross section shape with no expansion of both sides of the insulated core 1. |
