<p>The mechanism for rapid tightening of a bicycle hub (127) comprises a hollow device (104) having transverse holes (0) housed inside the hub. The device has an associated tightening spindle (102) having peripheral turned down parts (r ) for housing ball bearings (101). The wheel axle (111) which axially houses the device provides an internal housing for the ball bearings (c). The mechanical device for displacing/retaining axially the tightening spindle comprise a push button (106) screwed onto the spindle and a spring (105) tending to place the spindle in the retaining position, with the bearings appearing through the transverse holes. Adjustment consists of placing coaxially on the hub and against the spring, a serrated roller (128) which slips onto the hub in the manner of a ratchet. A stop (t) is supported on the roller so that its rotation causes axial displacement of the tightening device.</p> |
