This invention relates to improvements to turf vegetation mat for growing turf, and soil for turf capable of transporting natural turf without letting it die. This invention is directed to a turf vegetation mat characterized in that powdered polymer of a high water absorption capacity and seeds of turf are contained in a layer between front and back surface members. Accordingly, this mat has a high water retentivity and promotes the growth of the seeds of turf very well. Since this invention comprises soil for turf in which a gelled polymer of a high water absorption capacity and peat moss are agitated and mixed, noxious substances and germs hampering the growth of turf do not occur. This soil for turf can be washed very simply, and does not contaminate the environment. |
