Trailer coupling for a goods vehicle having a housing with a jaw-like opening for the engagement of a coupling rod (2) and a round coupling bolt rotatably mounted within the housing. A multi-lever cam mechanism (4,5) is provided for the coupling and uncoupling of the bolt and the force exerted by the levers on the bolt (7) is greater at the initial phase of the decoupling process than at the final phase. USE/ADVANTAGE - Arrangement which even with increased vehicle weights enables the coupling switch to be opened and closed with a relatively small rotary angle. |
