FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: press mold has fixed half with inclined wedge and movable half with slide and retaining device with connecting rod, crank and retainer, which are mounted on pins for rotating relative to these pins. Connecting rod and crank are interconnected through shaft, on which roller is mounted. When press mold is opened, inclined wedge drives slide, which urges retaining device to move. Crank and connecting rod are initiated to rotate relative to pins and abut against retainer projection through roller. As a result, retainer is rotated to compress spring. When roller moves past retainer projection, spring returns retainer to the initial position. Crank and connecting rod are fixed in final position close to dead point of crank-slide mechanism and slide is also fixed. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation, minimum mold dimensions. |
