<p>PURPOSE: To provide an actuator for an automobile which has a simple structure and not so many number of part items, can restrain the swing of a rod effectively and improve the swing resistant property of a diaphragm and further has a favorable assembly workability at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A flange shape guide part 17 is formed on the outer periphery of a spring case 7a and a round fold-back part 18 is formed on the terminal part 17a of this guide part 17 so as to reduce any wear occurred when it is in contact with the inner wall surface of the casing. It is favorable that the clearance (h) between the guide part 17 on which the fold-back part 18 is formed and the inner wall surface 2a of the casing 2 is set in a range of 0.2mm-0.6mm. When the clearance (h) is not more than 0.2mm, the contact area between the guide part 17 on which the fold-back part 18 is formed and contact frequency of the inner wall surface 2a of the casing 2 becomes high and when it is not less than 0.6mm, it is difficult to restrain the swing amount of a rod 11 same as usual.</p> |
