INJECTION MOLDING SIMULTANEOUS DECORATING METHOD AND MOLD USED THEREIN

PURPOSE: To accurately obtain a molded product having a punched hole and a projection in a decorating film used in order to provide patterns to the molded product simultaneously with the injection molding of a plastic. CONSTITUTION: A decorating film F is charged in a mold at a predetermined position and fixed on the parting part 16 of a female mold B or a male mold A if necessary by together using a film clamp 2 and, thereafter, a core 1 heated to the softening temp. of the film or higher is allowed to protrude at the male mold part having a gate and the film is held between the depressed part of the cavity surface 6 of the female mold having no gate opposed to the core and the protruding core 1 to be brought to a contact state under pressure of a degree not filled with an injection molding resin and a clearance. Further, the film F is embossed to the shape of the depressed part 3 and both male and femle molds are clamped and the molding resin is injected and solidified to obtain a molded product having the decorating film bonded thereto.
