The circuit is for emphasising the image configuration only when the transfer level is small so that the image quality is improved. The circuit comprises delay circuits (201-203) delaying the brightness signal, a diffentiator (203) differentiating the delayed signal two times to extract the configuration signal for the vertical direction, a limit value input tap (30) receiving the limited reference value, a configuration controlled value input tap (20), a configuration compensator (213) controlling the gain as much as the gain control value, and an adder (212) adding the output of the third delay circuit (211) to the output of the configuration compensator. |
