<p>PURPOSE: To provide a clearance preventing safety device of a rolling stock's connecting surface, capable of preventing a fall into a spot between vehicle connecting surfaces from a platform, and also of being deformed quickly even in the case where a clearance between these two connecting surfaces is extremely altered at a steep curve or the like. CONSTITUTION: This safety device consists of a turning arm 11 whose one end is attached to a rolling stock connecting surface 40 as being rotatable in the vertical direction, and being supported from the lower side in a state of being inclined upward, and a contact plate 15 attached to the other end of the tuning arm as being rotatable in the vertical direction of this arm, and it is attached to both outer ends of two connecting surfaces of railroad vehicles, thereby reducing the clearance between these two connecting surfaces.</p> |
