PURPOSE: To empty a soil chamber and easily repair it without stopping the flow of sewage such as domestic waste water. CONSTITUTION: A drum-like apparatus 3 is fitted to a pipe 2 discharging the sewage 4 to a soil chamber 1. The drum-like apparatus 3 is constituted of a cylindrical portion 5 made of a film having rubber elasticity and flat plate-like portions 6 closing both end opening sections of the cylindrical portion 5. A small pipe 7 is fitted through the flat plate-like portions 6 so that both ends are protruded from the drum--like apparatus 3, and an air plug 8 is fitted to at least one of the flat platelike portion 6. The drum-like apparatus 3 is arranged so that the cylindrical portion 5 is located along the inner periphery of the pipe 2, air is fed from the air plug 8, and the cylindrical portion 5 is inflated and fixed to the pipe 2 into close contact. The sewage 4 can be discharged from a discharge pipe 9 to the outside by a pump 10. |
