FIELD: chemical and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: filter has three-chamber casing and filtering channels in the middle chamber, which is connected with filtrate discharge pipe, distributor connected with channel inlets and provided with caught fraction discharge pipe, supply pipe for delivering medium to be filtered into one of end chambers. Method involves alternatively communicating channel inlets in various combinations with end chambers through distributor to provide tangential filtration, with gas bubbles being flushed off, or closing inlet of medium supplying chamber, with second inlet being open, to provide cleaning of portion of liquid remained from tangential filtration process, or alternatively closing inlet of first or second end chamber and connecting second inlet with caught fraction discharge pipe to realize channel washing cycles, with axial flow direction being alternatively varied and medium flow being directed in countercurrency with filtrate flow; canalizing gas and contaminants accumulated in the second end chamber from filter. EFFECT: reduced aeration of filter, improved cleaning and increased continuous operation of filter till maintenance procedure. |
