LIFTING CAPACITY LIMITER FOR CRANES

FIELD: safety devices for load handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: single lifting capacity limiter is used for two lifting mechanisms of crane. Limiter has weighing unit 1 to which connected through pivot 17 is compensating lever 18 and mounted on it are stop-hinges 19 and 20 given possibility of contact with crane bogie frame 14 and compensating pulleys 21 and 22. Stop hinges 19 and 20 pulleys 21 and 22 are secured to compensating lever 18 at distances determined by relation given in description. EFFECT: simplified design of crane and reduced amount of metal used due to smaller dimensions of crane bogie. 1 dwg
