FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: device comprises water jacket of the head and cylinder bank, radiator, top and bottom connecting branch pipes, water pump, and fan. In operation of the engine the pump pumps water through the walls of the cylinders and compression chamber to cool the engine. The sleeves and heads of the cylinders are finned. The fins are exposed to the flow of compressed air. The heat is withdrawn from the zone of enhanced heating of the cylinders by means of thermosiphon pipes, the pipes being made in the walls of the cylinder and the head of the bank of the engine. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. |
