Use of di:hydroxy:acetone

Dihydroxyacetone (I) is used to improve the adhesion to skin of light-protective filters contg amines. Also claimed is a container for application of the light-protective filter comprising (a) a chamber contg. a liq. or paste compsn. contg. (I), (b) a chamber contg. a liq. or paste contg. an amine-contg. protective light filter, and (c) a unit for the simultaneous application of the two compsns. The filter contains a sec. or prim. amine, esp. p-aminobenzoic acid or an ester.
