<p>An electrode contact device suitable for use with a cardiac pacemaker, comprising a ceramic body 44 which has on its outside at least two electrically conductive portions 50, 56, 58 at different radial distances in relation to a longitudinal axis of the main body. At least one of the conductors 50 consists of a thin layer of material applied on a surface area of the main body. The device may be constructed using a method of alternately layering on the main body conductive and ceramic material, creating at least a partial overlap between these two layers.</p> |
