Suction nozzle device for work mounting machine

The suction nozzle device for a chip mounter is provided with a suction nozzle (16) which travels from a part feeder toward a printed board with repeating a cycloid motion. The suction nozzle (16) has a nozzle tip (56) for taking up a part (P) from the part feeder under suction. This nozzle tip (56) is formed of a metal inner pipe (58) and a transparent outer pipe (60) surrounding this inner pipe (58). The suction nozzle device is further provided with a camera which catches silhouette of the part (P) in the course that the part (P) sucked up by the nozzle tip (56) is transported toward the printed board.
