<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method to obtain a reproduced image of high quality at high transfer efficiency with a simple structure even when an ordinary paper sheet is used. CONSTITUTION: In this image forming method, an image holding body 1 comprising a light-transmitting org. optical semiconductor material and a developing roll 4 to form a magnetic brush are used. An image is developed by irradiating the back surface of the image holding body 1 with light signals, and then transferred and fixed. The magnetic toner used in this method essentially consists of a binder resin and 30-75wt.% magnetic powder, contains 0.2-20wt.% conductive particles, and has 10<5> -10<12>Ω.cm volume resistivity in DC 100V/cm electric field. The toner image formed on the image holding body 1 is transferred under pressure to an ordinary paper sheet 12.</p> |
