PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of fixing U-shaped both leg parts on a light transmission plate in order to maintain the shape of a reflection mirror and to facilitate the maintenance such as the replacement of a light source, as for a light source device for a back light provided with a reflection mirror which is bent in a nearly U-shape. CONSTITUTION: As for the light source device 1 for back light, one leg part of the reflection mirror 6 is fixed on the surface of the light transmission plate 2, the leading end of the other leg part is positioned on the prescribed position of the rear side of the light transmission plate 2 by a positioning means, and also, the mirror 6 is attachably/detachably held by an appropriate holding means such as clamping. Thus, the other leg part is easily detached from the rear side of the light transmission plate 2 so as to expose the light source 5, then, the light source can be easily replaced. |
